I love this time of year and now that Josh is old enough to partake in the festivities, it has been a lot of fun!  Last night we went to our friends house to help them pass out candy.  I thought about taking Josh around and collecting candy on his behalf, but we all know that Josh won't end up eating it and I have NO self discipline at all.  He had a great time wearing his dinosaur costume and watching the other kids all dressed up.

We carved a pumpkin on Monday night and I thought Josh would love pulling the yucky insides out.  Well, he doesn't like to have dirt or anything else on his hands so I should have known that he wouldn't be interested in the pumpkin goop at all.  He did however, enjoy chewing on the extra pumpkin pieces.  

We've had the best time with all the pumpkin puree.  The last week we've had banana pumpkin muffins, apple pumpkin pancakes, and cinnamon french toast.  Any other recipe suggestions, I'd love to hear them!
