Josh and I got to fly to Mobile to visit one of my very favorite friends in the whole world - Rebecca. Of course this means we also spent time with her adorable son and oh so accommodating husband, but truth be told this weekend was for us girls! It was such a great time and Josh was an ideal traveler (a true blessing for a pregnant lady traveling without daddy to help). On Monday we went to the beach which was Josh's first encounter with the sand and waves. It took him a while to adjust to the sand in his toes and he hated when the water turned the sand into mud on his feet. But after a while he was running up and down the beach, playing "tag" with the waves, and spying fish in the water. The entire trip was way too fun and way overdue and while I loved every minute of it... it really only made me miss our friendship that much more. Thanks for a super trip friend!
