Roger Creager

Kevin and I had the coolest date night last night and it started out pretty hilarious.  We took Josh over to Jen and Keith's to sleep and we would just pick up him when we got home (one of the benefits of living two doors down).  The goal was to bring him over after Owen went to bed so they wouldn't get all excited.  Well right as Owen was headed into his room for bed we snuck Josh in downstairs and he happened to let out a sound.  It wasn't a big sound or a long sound, but just enough for Owen to hear and start screaming at the top of his lungs "JESH, JESH, JESH".   He seriously had a fit.  He knew Josh was in the house and there was no way he was going to sleep until he saw him.  It was the funniest thing in the world to hear Owen want Josh so badly.  So we let them have a few minutes together reading books before we tried the bed thing again and this time no problem.  Then Kevin and I headed out to a local coffee shop/country music bar by our house.  It is an old barn they have converted into a restaurant, and it is really nice.  We had dinner and then watched Roger Creager as he preformed some of his new music.  It was such an intimate setting, so laid back and relaxed.  I forgot how great live music is.  He just played and told stories like we were all good friends.  It was definitely my favorite date night so far!
