My Son the Scientist

Josh has been really interested in transferring liquid from one container to another these days. Lets say I'm pretty impressed with his ability to pour and also his ability to clean up his own mess. He has the pouring accuracy down, it's the concept of stopping when the container is full that is tricky. So yesterday we decided to set up a "science lab" in the kitchen and I got out different size containers, tubes, measuring cups and of course colored bubble water for his experiments. We were half way through the lab when he realized he didn't have an apron on, which we promptly remedied! It was A LOT of fun and as long as you have a few dozen towels on hand it wasn't too hard to clean up. Here are a few pics. The first one is Dash carefully observing his brothers lab in action.

It took him a while to understand how to pull water in and squeeze it out, but he was so proud when he got it! Way to persevere Josh.
I love his concentration in this one!

Your son is amazing just like his parents. Maybe just like his maternal Grandparents! HA!
What a doll. We miss you all so much.
Thanks for the updates.
