Oh Christmas Tree

One of my favorite traditions that Kevin and I started a few years back is cutting our own Christmas tree down. We used to go to a quaint little farm way out in the country and get one for ten dollars. This year our sweet farm closed and we turned to the closer, city, commercialized tree farm option. Not the same atmosphere, NOT the same price, but the same fun hand picking the perfect tree, sawing it down, and lugging it to the car!

Josh LOVED the pearls and was more interested in him wearing them than the tree wearing them.

Here's one more pic from the tree farm. It was actually cold in Houston the day we went (this is a first, usually we are wearing t-shirts!). I think the cold weather made the day even more perfect and definitely called for some hot cocoa on the way home.
