I just couldn't stop and finished curtains for the entire kitchen.
Chair covers are next on the list.
In this simple way I am beginning to feel like me again.Kevin has also had some excitement in his life. Starting in January he went to work full time for the family business. He actually looked at me last Sunday night and said he was looking forward to work on Monday. Come on...how many times has that happened before? I love the new job because he is excited about it, but mostly because he gets home 2 hours earlier every night.
Kevin was also asked to be a deacon at our church and was voted in on Wednesday night. He will be serving in the finance area (fitting huh?)
Even Maggie the dog has begun to adjust to life with Joshua. She has had her moments of jealousy and pouting, and she still craves extra attention when he is sleeping (hence the fact that she is sitting in my lap at this very moment). But now instead of avoiding him at all costs, she has begun to sit next to him, take naps with us on the bed, and even clean up the spit he sometimes leaves on the floor.

Way to go on the curtains! I'm still in my I-want-to-be-able-to-sew-but-don't-really-feel-like-learning stage.
I really like your chair cover fabric, too.
