Yummy

Today was a big day for us. It was our first try at rice cereal. We have been preparing for this moment the last two weeks by practicing with the high chair and the spoon. Each meal as we ate, we had Josh sit at the table with us. I would put some water on the spoon and he would let it drool down his face. It's been fun. So today we tried the real stuff. I have to tell you, it doesn't look so appetizing. Here is Josh before:

I'm not sure he actually swallowed any of it, but I'd still say the meal was a success. This is such an exciting moment because it means I am one step closer to pureeing Joshua's food. I already do it for Kevin and me (I sneak it in the food!) and pretty soon little man will get to partake as well!
